How it Works
**Before we get started, I would like to be clear that this system is for IC development and is in no way created to deter you from your freeform and open RP in the dream. This system was created to encourage RP and allow you to gain experience through RP with others in the dream.**
What Else Can I Gain?Digo Prizes (Desc Tags for the player with the most achievements and yearly at the end of each year to the most desc badges awarded) will be awarded for your efforts, as well as badges here on the forums and revenue in dream with your peers.
Unlocking your achievements will gain you a badge and progress recognition on this page. What if I Don't Want to Fight or Use Magic?Earn your points by persuasion, politics your thing? Good, we need some silver tongues! Earn your points by getting involved with the business RP and Guilds involved.
Educated and want to show off? Spread out your knowledge and help others with their quest by sharing your knowledge of a subject or information you've read in a book. Romance your thing? Earn badges for your Chivalry and eventually marriage and or hand-fasting! Want a specific set of armor? Talk to the Smith and gather the material required for him to make it for you while gaining physical skill for your character. Into the supernatural? Find your Temple and Seers, Oracles, Empaths and other hyper-sensitives to heighten your senses. |
Is your character a Master Swordsman, Thief, Mage or Craftsman? Show your skill through the Peer Points ~ Find your Guild Leaders and earn IC points to credit and badge your character within the dream. Accept quests making your character the main in a plot. Allow them to earn coin and possible higher positions within the Guilds. (If you're interested in helping others gain experience and would like to help with quest assignments contact an Admin).
Seek out to gain experience in:Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Agility, Intelligence,and Wisdom. Allowing your STATS: Fortitude, Reflex and Will to be raised through your efforts. Keeping Track
It's pretty simple ~ Your IC assignment will be given to you in game and when your assigner believes that your quest as been completed they will list your conquest in your character sheet on the forums. We are going to be using Elder Scrolls and Skyrim badge systems simply because most everyone has played and will understand the system better. For Example: Eden wishes to gain more experience in Strength and Constitution because she is a non combat character that I, as a player want to eventually have the skill to wield a sword. ICly she might be sent to the Smithy to work to build her physical strength before heading to the Fighter's Guild to gain more experience in Dexterity. |
